Demonstration is a straightforward way to teach tricks, but with a full schedule of classes, or with an injury, demonstrating everything may not be possible. Demonstration is not essential for communicating as a teacher, and challenging yourself to teach with other tools leads you to find better language, progressions, preparatory exercises, and strategies for connecting with a broader range of students. And your body will thank you!
