Personalized Instruction

Private lessons are the best way to work towards your individual movement goals- you get to work entirely at your own pace, entirely on your own goals!

Take lessons in….

  • Lyra, tippy lyra, rope, silks, and invented apparatus- from intro to advanced professional levels, apparatus-focused lessons can deepen your aerial practice.

  • Act creation, act polishing, audition prep, sequence building, movement quality, improvisation- whether you’re working on aerials, drag, juggling, or dance, Sable can help develop, hone, and amplify your unique creative voice.

  • Strength building, injury prevention, alignment, and conditioning- working on the physical building blocks of your movement can help you progress, keep you healthy, and increase the joy you take in moving.

Sliding scale: a commitment to financially accessible, sustainable circus
I am very invested in trying to make circus accessible to folks with less means while still being sustainable as a career for myself and my family. To that end, I offer a sliding scale for private lessons, changing depending on number of students, length of lesson, location, and, most importantly, your financial situation. Click on the scheduling button above for more info!

Help circus thrive!
If you are able to afford anything towards the upper end of the scale, please know that you will be subsidizing folks paying the lower end who would otherwise not be able to afford circus training; and, if your financial situation still can't sustain the lower end of the scale, please do let me know and we can try to work something out!

“Sable is both a wonderful coach and colleague. Seeing their dedication to their students and true understanding of both circus arts and body mechanics, I decided to supplement my own lyra training with private lessons. Their wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for technique has wildly helped my own practice flourish. They are a smart, compassionate coach that can guide you in safe and exciting movement pathways!”

~Julia Langer, aerialist and coach
