Weekly group classes are a great way to train with a crew of supportive people working alongside you. Wednesday

Mixed Level Lyra 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Whether you’re learning foundational vocabulary or looking to work into more advanced skills like dynamic movements, spinning, or choreography, this class is for you. Pre-reqs: at least one private lesson or class in lyra- ability to get onto and off of a low-rigged hoop.

Friday

Aerial Conditioning
12:00-1:00 p.m.
Come work on the muscular, connective tissue, and nervous system preparations necessary to be successful at all levels of circus arts.
Pre-reqs: none!

Open Hang
1:00-2:00 p.m.
Come train on your own with hands-off instructor supervision.
Pre-reqs: none!

Lyra Partnering
5:00-6:00 p.m.
Work on the foundations of partnering on aerial hoop, including mirroring, stacking, counterbalancing, and a wide variety of base/flyer positions.
Pre-reqs: at least 3 sessions of hard apparatus in ITDCA classes and comfort inverting to the top of the lyra without toe tagging, OR permission of instructor.

Mixed Level Fabrics 7:00-8:00 p.m.
This mixed-level class will meet you where you’re at with deep dives on specific skill categories and challenging choreography tailored to each level.
Pre-reqs: at least one private lesson or class in aerial fabrics: ability to put a foot lock on with hands while standing on the ground a plus but not required

Sunday

Handbalancing 4:00-5:00 p.m.
This highly technique-focused class will take you through all the conditioning and drills necessary to work towards a handstand and other foundational handbalancing shapes.
Pre-reqs: none!

Lyra Level 4 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Work on complex sequencing, intermediate dynamic skills and choreography, and conditioning to work towards release, c-shaping, and more stamina in this class.
Pre-reqs: strong in-air invert (bent arms ok), strong straight-legged leg lift with good spinal alignment, at least one pull-up, familiarity with plank and pike beats, and strong front and back balances, instructor approval.

Fabric Level 4 6:00-7:00 p.m.
This level is beginning to work on longer sequences higher in the air, laying the foundations for drops, and building in-air inversion endurance.
Pre-reqs: hip keys in the air (ok if not perfectly clean!), comfort working at above 10’ of height, strong double crochet cross-back, and the stamin to complete a 2-3 minute foot lock sequence.

Aerial Rope 7:15-8:15 p.m.
Maybe you’ve dabbled in rope before and want to focus on it more: maybe you’re a fabric person who’s curious about this related apparatus; maybe you’ve never touched a soft apparatus before! Whatever your level, this mixed class will tailor skill work and conditioning to meet you where you are and get you comfortable on this challenging apparatus.
Pre-reqs: ability to invert from the floor (jumping, toe tagging, and bent arms ok!)

Independent Study 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Bring your projects, your conditioning goals, your skills that you just can’t quite crack, and get dedicated point time and one-on-one work with the instructor to tackle them. Mixed apparatus and mixed-level class!
